What to Expect

Your first visit doesn't have to be overwhelming or intimidating! It's our hope that you're greeted with a warm smile, soon knowing that, when we say this is a place for everyone, we mean it. We are a congregation of multiple generations, different walks of life, and in various places on our spiritual journeys. We welcome the skeptic, the doubter, and the believer. No matter what, you are welcomed here!

Plan Your Visit

Anyone is welcome! First Christian is a church for everyone. That means we strive to be a place of worship and service for all generations, life experiences, and questions. Regardless of who you are, you will be invited into a warm space that you can call home!

The Christmas Eve service will be about 70 minutes with a lively atmosphere for all ages. Be inspired by upbeat music and sing along to familiar carols. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season together!

During the service, we’ll take communion together. Communion is just a simple time for all believers to remember Jesus, and you’re welcome to participate or simply observe.

At the end of the service, we’ll dim the lights, light candles and sing "Silent Night" together - a beautiful and meaningful ending to the service.

For our Christmas services, we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early. You’ll enjoy some extra time before the service starts to enjoy all the Christmas decor and make memories at our great photo ops, grab a hot beverage and enjoy a cozy space.

If you are bring your children for the first time, you'll want to arrive a few minutes earlier than that to get them checked into children's programming.

We have amazing volunteers that want to help you with every step! If it's your first time, park near the main entrance and turn on your hazard lights to let us know it's your first time. From there, our volunteer team will be happy to show you the way!

Dress however you’d like – cozy, casual, or Christmas-fancy! Some people enjoy dressing up a bit for the holiday photo ops, but you’ll fit right in no matter what you wear.

Your kids will have a blast learning about how the Christmas story and God's love is for everyone through hands-on activities and lots of group participation! Programming will be available for ages birth through 5th grade, but we encourage elementary-age children to experience the Christmas Eve Services with their families.

For a faster registration process, consider pre-registration for your children at this link.

Students are encouraged to join you at the Christmas service, experiencing a powerful and inviting service designed for all ages.

As your family looks ahead to 2026, be sure to check out First Christian's Student Ministries. This community will encourage them to build friendships that matter, follow Jesus wholeheartedly, and make a difference in their schools, neighborhoods, and around the world.
