Sanka to Starbucks

Sanka to Starbucks is a multigenerational event for women of all ages designed to foster connections across generations, backgrounds, and experiences within our church community. Come be part of meaningful conversations, forge new friendships, and enjoy refreshments in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

At this Sanka to Starbucks, we’ll assemble gift bags for linemen and other relief workers who have made sacrifices to dedicate themselves to helping our community. We want to show our appreciation and encourage them as they continue to work diligently to care for those in need. If you’re able, please bring any of the following items to go in the gift bags:

  • Homemade cookies or muffins (we’ll make sure these get delivered quickly so they stay fresh!)
  • Snacks such as candy, granola bars, trail mix, and chips
  • Hand sanitizer or hand wipes
  • Thank you note cards (we will have time to write these notes during Sanka to Starbucks)
  • Bottled water
  • Gatorade

Be creative! If there’s something else you think would be encouraging to put in these bags, bring it along. We will also be collecting adult socks for our local community.

Childcare is provided! Email Janet Galante at jgalante@fcc-jc.org to reserve childcare.
